State secondary school is not working for over a quarter of students
PCP online research commissioned on behalf of Edge, an independent education foundation, revealed that over a quarter of parents feel their child is being let down by the education system and over half of all parents did not feel their child was being adequately equipped with skills for work and life. As a result 47 per cent of parents are calling for a revolution in education and 61 per cent are saying they want a broad curriculum which gives their child experience of life skills and the world of work.
