PCP research reveals that 'Doctors say fake injuries are on the increase'.
GPs have seen a dramatic rise in the number of patients faking injuries in order to claim compensation, according to new research carried out by PCP on behalf of LV= car insurance.The research conducted among GPs has revealed that two-thirds of doctors (65%) have seen an increase in the number of attempts to make a fraudulent injury claim over the past ten years, with almost one in four reporting a surge since the recession began.
