PCP are commissioned by Darlington College to carry out an awareness and perception survey, including street interviews and focus groups.
PCP are commissioned by Darlington College to carry out an awareness and perception survey, including street interviews and focus groups. PCP have carried out 400 street interviews with members of the public in Richmond, Leyburn and Catterick to find out their awareness and perceptions of Catterick College at Catterick Garrison, which is part of Darlington College. Focus groups were also carried out with members the public and also with army dependents.The survey was commissioned to try and determine whether members of the public, in surrounding towns, and army dependents were aware of the College and and the courses it has to offer. It was also to try and find out whether members of the public were aware that the College was not only for members of the army or their dependents, but is also for members of the general public. The research also aimed to find out if adults were aware that they could also attend courses (that courses are not just for those under 18 years of age) and what courses they would potentially attend if they were put on at Catterick College.
